| As a believer in the positive benefits of vibrant colour, I enjoy experimenting with colour palettes to create works that bring warmth and vitality to a room. Hugely inspired by nature and flowers at bloom, I have borrowed such themes for my works. Abstract in style, I focus my paintings on colour and composition rather than form. I like to attempt to share the feeling of walking into a vibrant flower market or walking through a meadow or forest in springtime. |  |
| Painting with oil paint is a must for me. I love the thick lushness of each stroke and the contrast in textures that can only be achieved with copious amounts of paint. I like to give my works a three-dimensional feel by creating layers of directional bush strokes. To me, thick textures and sweeping brushstrokes give an artwork a living, breathing feel. |  |
